The Mission of the Bourns Family Youth Innovation Center is to provide opportunities to Riverside residents by introducing them to professionals and services that will promote enhanced learning to increase the likelihood of life-long success. 

Your monetary support will contribute to scholarship funds, STEM based programming, camps, and workshops that support career technical education and job training.


Partnering with the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department and the Riverside Community Services Foundation provides your agency with a strategic resource to infuse your agency into the Riverside community, maximize agency exposure and reinforce community commitment.

Give youth the opportunity to enjoy open green space, make new friends, play, and learn skills that will assist them as they move into adulthood. Over the years, RCSF has provided over 5,000 children with the opportunity to participate in activities they wouldn’t otherwise have been able to enjoy.  The RCSF’s founders didn’t want to accept the belief that due to low income, a child was different or unable to participate in the PRCSD’s programs and events. So they, along with the PRCSD, pioneered programs that would benefit ALL children and founded the RCSF to assist in fundraising to ensure all children, no matter financial status, could participate.
